This survey is about your knowledge of the child abuse incidents that happened to youth members of First Christian Church.
Are you an active member of First Christian Church?

Do you have children that participate in church activities?

Did you know about Brandon Milburn, the youth intern and volunteer, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison for statutory sodomy?

Did you know that the church leadership knew about Milburn's bad behavior in August 2011, but continued to let him volunteer, work part time and be a leader in VBS from August 2011 to July 2012?

Do you think Milburn should have been kept away from kids and investigated and reported by the church?

Did you know that the senior pastor and First Christian Church have sued 4 former members of the church for trying to blow the whistle on the cover up of Milburn's activities?

Did you know that while they claim only to want to clear their name, they sued for $25,000 in compensatory damage and unspecified punitive damage?

Do you agree that disputes within the church should be handled within the church, per the Bible?

Do you think it is appropriate for the church to use money from tithes to pay lawyers to file a suit?

Between February 2014 when Milburn was arrested in St. Louis and March 2015 when he was sentenced to 25-years, someone from the church made 78 visits to B. Milburn in the County Jail.  During that same period, one of the victims and his family didn't receive a visit, a phone call or a postcard.  The father said it appears that the church staff coddled the perpetrator and ignored the victim. Do you think FCCF should have reached out to the victim and his family?

Do you think the FCCF leadship should be held accountable for leaving teens exposed to Milburn's predatory behavior between August 2011 and July 2012?

What do you think should be done about the fact that the leadership at First Christian tried to hide the fact that abuse had occurred, and teens were at risk between August 2011 and July 2012?
